The twenty-two count indictment, which included three charges of abduction and assault, reflected the bizarre crimes that took place across New Grace County on December 10th  which left the victims tied naked with Christmas lights to a sleigh in a homeowner’s Christmas  display. Being a hamburger connoisseur it’s always a delight when my editor assigns the newest burger incarnation for my review.  So last week, my intrepid burger editor, Rob Greenbaum and I ventured to The Castaways – sort of our annual semi-scientific experiment to burgerology. This place is all attitude, from the pierced-and-tattered-up waitstaff to their 20 plus burger varieties. sirloin half-pounders that are flamed-grilled and then garnished with almost everything imaginable, including peanut butter.   Justine’s, located at the Golden Shores Marina in Herricks Bay, offers plenty of outdoor seating overlooking Sabine Lake. You can come by boat and dock at the marina or if it’s full blow your horn and they will happily send a launch to pick you up.   They have an extensive menu from the standard local southern dishes such as She Crab Soup and Fried Catfish to the more exotic Spicy Shrimp Curry and Crawfish Risotto.
